GE Advance and Siemens HRRT

The Siemen's HRRT is a dedicated human brain PET scanner.  The scanner has a 31.2cm radial field of view (FOV) and a 25.2cm axial FOV allowing imaging of the entire human brain.  Scanner resolution is <2.4mm full width at half maximum (FWHM) at the centre of the FOV.

The GE Advance is a whole body PET scanner which will be used primarily for imaging the human brain. The scanner has a 97.2cm radial FOV and a 15.2cm axial FOV.  Scanner resolution is approximately 4.0mm FWHM at the centre of the FOV.

Collaborators wishing to conduct a study using the GE Advance or Siemen's HRRT scanners are required to complete a Project Proposal form.

Please download, complete the form in full, and submit it via the Study Proposal Submission Form on this website.

Note that a separate form is required for each new study.  All collaborators are required to comply with the procedures outlined here.  The Principal Investigator of the proposed study is responsible for understanding and enforcing these requirements and must indicate this understanding on the Project Proposal form (Section 4).

µPET Focus 120

The µPET Focus 120 is a dedicated small animal PET scanner. The scanner has a 7.6cm radial field of view (FOV) and a 10mm axial FOV allowing imaging of the brain of a rat or the whole body of a mouse. Scanner resolution is <1.5mm FWHM at the centre of the FOV.

Collaborators wishing to conduct a study using the µPET Focus 120 are required to complete a Project Proposal form.

Please download, complete the form in full, and submit it via the Study Proposal Submission Form on this website.

Note that a separate form is required for each new study. All collaborators are required to comply with the procedures outlined here. The Principal Investigator of the proposed study is responsible for understanding and enforcing these requirements and must indicate this understanding on the Project Proposal form (Section 5).
